David Brown is the President and CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. Brown spoke at this month’s Press Club Noon Forum.
He has been at the Chamber for 12 years and in that time the Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership has landed 535 projects representing over 27,000 jobs and more than 5.2 billion in capital investments.
Brown says the Chamber has always taken pride in its role as a catalytic organization. He says the Chamber is dedicated to fostering a competitive pro-business environment and a great quality community.
"We are an organization committed to economic progress with a goal of community-wide prosperity. Our efforts to attract new businesses and keep existing businesses are backed by n array of regional assets, starting first with our incredible quality of life, our skilled labor pool, a solid infrastructure, strong financial institutions, low power rates and generous business incentives that counterbalance a not too generous tax structure.”
