MUGLIFE will donate 116 pounds of coffee to The Siena/Francis House!
For every listener who donated during Morning Edition (April 13-15), a half-pound of coffee is being donated in their honor to The Siena/Francis House Homeless Shelter. The Siena/Francis House provides food, emergency shelter, and clothing to homeless families and individuals from Omaha and surrounding communities... and they go through a LOT of coffee.
That's why MUGLIFE Coffee Lab and Roastery agreed to donate a half-pound of coffee for every pledge that came in to KIOS during Morning Edition this week (Wednesday through Friday).
Thank you so much to MUGLIFE, The Siena/Francis House, and all of our members!
About The Siena/Francis House Homeless Shelter
Founded in 1975, the Siena/Francis House is Nebraska's largest shelter, providing food, emergency shelter & clothing, along with outreach/case management to homeless families and individuals from Omaha and surrounding communities. The Siena/Francis House also houses a residential chemical addictions treatment center, a day services center, an employment training program, and a medical clinic. The Siena/Francis House has an "open door" policy, in that we try to never turn away any person or family who comes to us in need, regardless of the circumstances that led them to seek our help.
