OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say on person was killed and one injured when a motorcycle collided with a semitrailer in western Douglas County.
The wreck occurred around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, about a mile and a half east of the Platte River. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says one of the people on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was flown to an Omaha hospital.
The Sheriff's Office says the truck driver wasn't injured.
The names of those involved and other details about the collision haven't been released.
