Omaha, NE – For the first time since reaching the Final Four of the NCAA volleyball championship last December, the women's team from Nebraska will be playing at the Qwest Center Friday night. The Huskers, ranked third in this season's pre-season coaches poll, will open the season against Michigan in the AVCA Showcase on the first of two straight nights in Omaha. Despite the record attendance at last year's volleyball championship, it will not be returning to the Qwest Center in the foreseeable future. Omaha Public Radio's Greg Echlin has more.
