Founded in 1984 as a compassionate response to the AIDS crisis, Nebraska AIDS Project (NAP) leads the community in the fight to overcome HIV/AIDS and its stigma through education, supportive services, and advocacy.
On Saturday, November 17th from 8p.m. to Midnight it's the Nebraska AIDS Project’s annual fundraising gala “Night of A Thousand Stars” hosted at the Omaha Design Center. There will be cocktails, hors d’overes, dancing, a silent auction, and raising money for Nebraska AIDS Project. NAP's Executive Director, Brent Koster joins Mike Hogan "Live & Local" to discuss the mission, the event, and the future of treatment and education.
