Nebraska Medicine has been named to the 100 Great Hospitals List by Becker’s Hospital Review for the third year in a row.
Dr. Harris Frankel, Chief Medical Officer, says Nebraska Medicine’s personnel is their greatest asset. He says everyone takes the honor seriously and is grateful to be recognized for their work.
Frankel says this is not a list that you can pay to be on.
"The individuals who do the selections look at a number of different data sources like US News, Health Grades and things like that. And they consider a number of different domains in making their selections such as: innovations in care, quality of care, advanced clinical care through research and what position the institution holds in the community.”
Frankel says if you look at the context in which the selection was made, you can understand why Nebraska Medicine fits the bill.
