Nebraska’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate held at 3.7 percent in December.
The Nebraska Department of Labor released the preliminary unemployment rate information Friday. The rate was also 3.7 percent in November. In December 2011, it was 4.2 percent.
Labor Commissioner Catherine Lang says the manufacturing, education and health, and trade, transportation, and utilities sectors saw the most growth in December.
Nebraska’s unemployment figure remains well below the national unemployment rate of 7.8 percent.
