Nebraska woman pleads guilty to bank embezzlement

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A September sentencing has been scheduled for a 42-year-old suburban Omaha woman who's been convicted of embezzling more than $135,000 while working at a bank.

The Omaha World-Herald reports that Amy Fisher, of Papillion, pleaded guilty on Monday in U.S. District Court in Omaha. Fisher was charged with thefts that occurred from September 2012 through March 2014 while working at a Bank of the West branch. Prosecutors say Fisher took the money from several customers' accounts.

Her sentencing is set for Sept. 21.
