Nebraska workshop on agricultural tourism planned

KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) — A state workshop on promoting agricultural and environmental tourism is being planned for February.

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development's workshop will be held in Kearney from February 3-5.

Agricultural tourism can offer new opportunities for landowners, farmers and ranchers in the state.

The workshop will offer advice on developing attractions and marketing them.

Registration for the event is $92 and must be completed before Jan. 29.
