Matt Walsh will be sworn in Thursday afternoon as the new Mayor of Council Bluffs.
Walsh was elected Mayor in November. He’ll be sworn in Thursday at 4pm at Council Bluffs City Hall.
He’s the city’s first new Mayor in 25 years. Tom Hanafan was elected in 1987, and didn’t seek re-election.
Walsh is currently a Council Bluffs City Councilman.
