Omaha, NE – Starting February Second, changes are coming to what you hear on Omaha Public Radio.

National Public Radio is canceling Day to Day, which currently airs at 11 AM on KIOS-FM. In its place will be The Story, which airs at one PM. Also, two new programs will join the morning lineup: On Point with Tom Ashbrook and Tell Me More, hosted by Michele Martin.

Changes are also coming to Omaha Public Radio's local jazz and blues programs, with two-hour offerings starting February second. More local newscasts are being added, and there are changes to the weekend schedule as well. Recently, KIOS General Manager Keith Neisler sat down with Martin Wells to talk about the programming changes and why they're happening.
