New Resource for Nebraska Early Childhood Educators

The new Nebraska Early Childhood Exchange web portal is meant to be a one-stop shop for early childcare providers.

Liz Weingartner, Program Associate at the Buffett Early Childhood Fund, says the online tool is a collaborative effort among many different organizations and state agencies.

Weingartner says they’ve been working on the Nebraska Exchange since last fall.

"It offers everything from cost savings on things like classroom resources and office supplies all the way to things like budget templates, scholarly articles that can be used for professional development, trainings.  It’s a full suite of resources.”

Weingartner says an advisory board will review information on new resources as they become available.  She says there are also individuals in place who will check the website on a regular basis to ensure it’s up to date and that all the links are working.

The site can be accessed by visiting www.NebraskaExchange.org.
