Omaha, NE – The Bemis Underground opened three new solo exhibits Friday night.

The featured artists are Dan Crane, Victoria Mills and Kenneth Adkins.

Adkins is a sculptor and painter whose work has exhibited widely and is included in the Joslyn Art Museum's permanent collection. He says his pieces in this show are mixed media and are done on a much smaller scale than he typically uses when he paints. Adkins says the nature of his work deals with conversations and social relationships. He also says there's a strong element of humor in his work.

There will be a Gallery Talk with the Artists on Thursday, February 3rd at 7:00 p.m. The event is free and details are available online at bemiscenter.org.
