No reopening date for Von Maur store at Westroads

Omaha, NE – The Von Maur store at Westroads Mall has remained closed since eight people were killed there last week. Company officials said today (Monday) that a definitive reopening date isn't set at this point. In a statement, Von Maur officials say current reopening dates being reported are false. A company spokeswoman told Omaha Public Radio this morning that Von Maur is still working on plans for the store's reopening. 19-year-old Robert Hawkins killed eight people at Von Maur last Wednesday and injured five more before shooting himself.
