The Nuclear Regulatory Commission and OPPD are meeting Thursday evening in Omaha about Fort Calhoun Station.
The nuclear plant has been closed since April 2011, when it shut down for refueling. Missouri River flooding and a series of safety violations have kept the plant closed.
Thursday’s meeting will update what items OPPD still must complete on a restart checklist for Fort Calhoun Station. The public will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
The meeting begins at 6pm at the Ramada Plaza Omaha Hotel, at 3321 South 72nd Street.
