Oh those dinos!!

Omaha, NE – The dinosaurs have returned to the Omaha Children's Museum and they are bringing some new friends with them.

Dinosaurs: Dawn of the Ice Age is on view at the Museum through January 2012. Marketing Director Christina Kahler says half of the exhibit features lifelike animatronic dinosaurs, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The other half of the exhibit features Ice Age mammals, including the Saber-toothed Tiger and the Woolly Mammoth.

Kahler says there are plenty of hands-on activities including a Paleo Camp and Dinosaur Dig, "One fun addition to this dinosaur exhibit is our junior paleontologist missions, hosted by Dino Dave. And we have a video playing and Dino Dave sends kids out on missions around the exhibit. And when they get their missions completed, then they can turn it in for a little junior paleontologist surprise."
