Omaha attorney enters Senate race

Jan 22, 2014

An Omaha attorney is running for U.S. Senator Mike Johanns’ seat.

David Domina announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate Tuesday.  Domina says he’s running for Senate because he feels there’s a lack of objectivity and bipartisanship.

"There is nobody right now who is on the national scene who is making a really good presentation of an objective way to solve problems, nobody appreciating what it objectively means to find facts, figure out what the law is right now, and then think through the process of how to change it instead of starting with the solution and getting partisan about the solution with no compromise."

Domina says his campaign will focus on jobs, safety, and the national budget.

He’s currently on a 28-city campaign tour through Nebraska.
