Omaha, NE – Omaha City Councilman Chuck Sigerson's condition has improved. In a statement issued Tuesday evening, Sigerson's family says he remains in a critical stage. But they say he has begun therapy and is walking the halls at the hospital.
Sigerson suffered the stroke and heart attack Saturday evening. The statement says "We all believe in God's power to heal and continue to urge the community to continue praying for Chuck and the health care professionals."
Sigerson was elected to the Omaha City Council in 2001. He represents northwest Omaha.
