Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle is out of the hospital in Ireland.
A news release from the Mayor’s office says he was released from the Naas, Ireland, hospital Monday morning. Spokeswoman Aida Amoura says Mayor Suttle is expected to return to Omaha Monday night or Tuesday morning.
Amoura says Suttle checked in to the hospital last Friday because he wasn’t “feeling like himself.” Suttle was treated for dehydration and a spike in his blood pressure, and will undergo further tests when he returns to Omaha.
Suttle was in Europe for ten days promoting economic development with three sister cities.
