Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle’s Communications Director is taking a leave of absence.
Aida Amoura announced Monday afternoon that she’s taking the unpaid leave of absence to serve as Suttle’s campaign spokeswoman through May 14th. Suttle was one of two winners of this month’s primary election, and faces City Councilwoman Jean Stothert in the general election.
The leave of absence is effective as of Monday afternoon. Nicholas Brotzel will serve as Communications Director during Amoura’s leave of absence.
