Omaha Performing Arts’ 2013-2014 season features more than 100 performances from artists in a variety of genres.

Joan Squires, Executive Director for Omaha Performing Arts, says they’ve added two new series to the lineup.

One is the Children’s Series.

The other is the National Geographic Live Speaker Series.

Squires says this season’s Broadway series will offer The Book of Mormon and War Horse

She says she thinks the Showcase Series, which kicks off the season this summer, will be a favorite.

"It kicks off with Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers.  He’s a terrifically talented bluegrass musician and the group is fabulous, along with Edie Brickell who will be performing with them.  So it’s fun but it’s also going to be funny so I think that’s a great way to start that whole package.”

Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers perform at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21st in the Holland Center.
