Omaha Performing Arts "Kicks" Off New Season in November

Omaha Performing Arts’2014-2015 season is going to be one of the best ever.

That’s according to OPA Executive Director Joan Squires.  Squires says the season kicks off with the first appearance in Omaha of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes.

"We are thrilled to bring this family holiday show to the city for 34 performances at the Orpheum Theatre.  And it’s going to kick off our Broadway series.  It’s all the things you would expect with Radio City and we think it’s going to be an amazing way to kick off the Broadway series.”

Squire says additional Broadway series offerings include Pippin, Motown the Musical, Once and Mamma Mia.

Other highlights of OPA’s upcoming season include performances by jazz singer Cassandra Wilson, the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet and Dinosaur Train Live.
