Omaha Police seeking information on arsonist

Omaha, NE – Omaha Police are asking for the public's help to locate an arsonist.

Police and Fire officials were called to Beth Israel Synagogue July 30th for a report of a playground on fire. Arson investigators determined the fire was intentionally set. It caused $10,000 worth of damage to the equipment, which is a total loss.

Anyone with information is urged to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP, log on to www.omahacrimestoppers.net or text information to CRIMES (274637). Crime Stoppers offers a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. All tips are anonymous. The Beth Israel Synagogue is also offering a reward.
