Omaha's Bike Sharing Program Adds More Stations

B-Cycle is Omaha’s bike sharing program.

Ben Turner, Program Director, says B-Cycle is now in its fourth season.

He says anyone can use the bicycles by purchasing an access pass.

Turner says Omaha is a diverse and vibrant community with hubs of activity that are a little too far apart from each other to walk, but also too close together to drive to.

This year, B-Cycle is adding three new bike sharing stations.

"With the success of our temporary program last year and the success we’ve had fundraising, we’ve added these stations downtown, in part to serve the College World Series as well as serve Omaha in general.”

Omaha B-Cycle has 43 bikes at eight stations located in Downtown Omaha, Aksarben Village and UNO.

Turner says daily, monthly and yearly access passes are available.
