Omaha, NE – One of the Salvation Army of Omaha's cooling centers reopens Friday.
A news release from the Omaha chapter says the North headquarters, at 2424 Pratt Street, opens at 11 AM Friday. It'll be open until 6PM Friday and Saturday, as well as noon to 6PM on Sunday.
Temperatures are expected to reach the upper 90s to 100 degrees Friday through the weekend. The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services issued a Heat Alert earlier this week.
