The Omaha Public Schools board will determine its finalists later this week for superintendent.
A special meeting is set for 10am Friday to “approve a slate of finalists for the superintendent position.” Last Tuesday and Wednesday, OPS board members interviewed six candidates. That’ll be narrowed to three finalists, who’ll be named Friday.
A schedule provided by PROACT Search, the consulting firm working with OPS on the superintendent search, says the three finalists will be interviewed next Tuesday through Thursday.
OPS plans to name its new superintendent December 17th.
