The Omaha Public Schools board plans to start interviewing candidates for superintendent next week.

Over the next week, that list will be cut down to six semifinalists. Board members will interview the six candidates next Tuesday and Wednesday.

After that, three finalists will be chosen, and presented December 7. The OPS board will interview those three candidates in public sessions December 11th through 13th.

A new superintendent will be named December 17th.
