OPS high school students get longer school days

By Katie Knapp Schubert

Omaha, NE – Longer school days await some high school students in the Omaha Public Schools.

OPS officials plan to extend the high school day by 15 minutes from February 18 to May 21. High School students will also attend school the entire day on March fourth and fifth. Those days were originally set aside for parent-teacher conferences.

The schedule was changed due to the number of snow days used so far this school year.
