Katie Underwood and Andy Allen are the candidates for the Omaha Public Schools Subdistrict 7 seat.
Underwood is a Project Engineer with Omaha-based Olsson Associates. Her background is in civil engineering. According to her website, Underwood’s priorities are school safety and investing in schools. She also wants to restore the community’s trust in the OPS board.
Andy Allen is a computer technician. He says the OPS board needs more transparency and community involvement. Allen also wants early childhood programs expanded.
Omaha’s general election is next Tuesday.
