Peter Buffett performs in Omaha

By Cheril Lee

Omaha, NE – Philanthropist, composer and author Peter Buffett will perform at a benefit for the Kent Bellows Studio & Center for Visual Arts this Friday night at the Joslyn Art Museum.

The concert is called "Life is What You Make It" and will feature Buffett playing piano as he talks about the way he found his life path. Anne Meysenburg, Executive Director of the Kent Bellows Studio and Center for the Visual Arts, says the center offers students the freedom to create through the one-on-one guidance of professional mentors. Meysenburg says that's why it's so appropriate that Buffett appear for this event benefiting the Kent Bellows Studio, since Bellows was Buffett's mentor.

"Life is What You Make It" takes place Friday in the Witherspoon Concert Hall at the Joslyn Art Museum at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at ticketomaha.com.
