The 60th annual Omaha Charity Sports Banquet takes place this Thursday at the CenturyLink Center.
The event is held by the B’nai B’rith Henry Monsky Lodge.
President Ari Riekes says the non-profit organization is committed to doing good work for the community.
Riekes says the banquet will honor the top male and female high school athletes of the year.
This year’s keynote speaker is Denver Broncos Quarterback, Peyton Manning.
Riekes says the event will be hosted by the Sklar Brothers.
"They’re originally from St. Louis and now live in Los Angeles. They are well-known comedians who travel the country doing comedy shows. They fill in for Jim Rome on his national radio broadcast when he is out of town. And they’ve made cameo appearances on many TV shows that are very popular.”
