Police: 3 injured in head-on Omaha crash

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Omaha police say three people are recovering after a head-on collision.

Officers say the driver of a Chrysler Sebring ran a red light and hit a Chevy Impala in an intersection Sunday. They say the Sebring's driver and a passenger weren't wearing seat belts and were taken to an area hospital in serious condition. The driver of the Impala was wearing a seat belt and was also taken to a hospital in serious condition.

Police say all three are expected to recover. They say speed and alcohol are likely factors in the crash. The driver of the Sebring is facing unspecified charges.
