Omaha, NE – Omaha Police have identified the victims of an apparent murder-suicide Sunday night in Midtown.
71-year-old Robert Anderson and 63-year-old Karla Anderson were found dead inside a home at 112 South 50th Street. Omaha Fire and Rescue Personnel were called to the home around 10:30 Sunday night for a report of an unconscious person. They found Mrs. Anderson's body and notified Police. Police found Mr. Anderson's body inside the home a short time later.
Lt. Darci Tierney of the Omaha Police Department says the deaths appear to be a murder-suicide. She says the preliminary investigation shows Mr. Anderson shot his wife, then himself.
