Police: Omaha doughnut store robbed at gunpoint

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Omaha police say robbers shot at a doughnut shop employee who tried to follow the pair after they stole cash.

No injuries were reported after the robbery at Winchell's Donuts on Sunday. Police say the suspects displayed a gun and demanded money before taking a 67-year-old man's wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash from the store.

Police say a suspect shot at the 41-year-old employee outside of the store. The suspects fled in a brown Chevrolet vehicle.

No arrests have been reported.
