Project Vote Smart plans a visit to Omaha

By Katie Knapp

Omaha, NE – Project Vote Smart is bringing its Voter Self-Defense System bus tour to Omaha next week.

The non-partisan organization runs a web site that houses voting records, campaign finance information, speeches, and issue positions of lawmakers and candidates, both state and federal.

Tony Boehm of Project Vote Smart says the bus tour is designed to educate voters about the group's resources. The Project's tour bus is equipped with a small theatre and a computer lab for voters to research candidates and lawmakers.

The Project Vote Smart bus will be at the University of Nebraska-Omaha next Thursday from 10 AM to 3 PM.
