Omaha voters could be asked in May to approve or reject $92 million in bonds for a variety of projects.
The Omaha City Council will hold public hearings Tuesday on five bond proposals. The largest is $47,375,000 for road construction and maintenance. $13.6 million would go toward sewer projects, and $14.5 million toward parks and recreation improvements.
An additional $16 million in bonds would pay for infrastructure improvements to the city’s public buildings…as well as vehicle and equipment needs for the Omaha Fire Department.
The city council meets at 2pm.
