Omaha, NE – The Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Iowa is unveiling a three-part education plan.

Roxanne Conlin talked about education and jobs during a visit to Council Bluffs Saturday morning. Conlin is a Des Moines trial lawyer. She's running against longtime Republican Senator Charles Grassley.

Conlin says she wants early childhood education for every Iowa child. She also wants changes to the No Child Left Behind act as well as full funding and support of Iowa's community colleges.

Conlin says now is the time for energy and infrastructure projects, such as road and bridge repairs, to happen. She also wants treaties re-negotiated so American workers have "a level playing field."
