The candidates for Nebraska’s open U.S. Senate seat are scheduled to participate Friday in their second debate.
The debate between Democratic candidate Bob Kerrey and his GOP opponent, Deb Fischer, begins at 11am at the Omaha Community Playhouse. Kerrey is a former Nebraska Governor and U.S. Senator. Fischer is a Nebraska State Senator.
Fischer and Kerrey are vying for the Senate seat currently held by Ben Nelson. Omaha Public Radio will bring you coverage of the Senate debate Friday afternoon during All Things Considered.
