Omaha, NE – Senator Hillary Clinton says the entire community needs to be involved in mentoring children and providing opportunities.
Clinton's comments came Tuesday during a keynote address at the annual Girls Inc. Lunch for the Girls. Omaha's Girls Inc. Chapter was founded in 1975 and serves up to 200 girls every day.
Clinton says she believes every child needs a champion, whether that's a family member, coach, pastor, or a mentor. She says organizations such as Girls Inc. are an important component of lifelong learning.
