Senator Johanns Dislikes Obamacare

This week, Senator Mike Johanns discussed his disappointment with what he called the “failures” of the new Affordable Care Act, also called Obamacare.

Johanns said now, in the early stages of the law’s rollout, there are major problems, such as the website not functioning properly.

He said the window is shrinking for Americans to sign up for health care to avoid a fine or a lapse in coverage.

"Millions who like and want to keep their current plan are being dropped January 1 yet they can’t even log into the website to buy more expensive coverage with higher co-pays and deductibles.  Hearings in Congress this week have yielded few answers by the administration.  Clearly they don’t want to answer tough questions.”

Senator Johanns comments came during his weekly conference call with Nebraska media.
