Sing Omaha's Doors are Wide Open

Omaha, NE – Sing Omaha was formed in 2007 by Artistic Director Matt Hill. Hill says the group is excited to be in a position to provide singers of all ages with the opportunity to come together and share their love of choral music and singing with others who share that same passion.

He says Sing Omaha has opened its doors to both student musicians as well as adult singers who had previously been with the Nebraska Choral Arts Society, who closed their doors earlier this month. Hill says the mission of community choral music all around the country is "to provide singers of all ages with an opportunity to experience what choral music has to offer, both from an artistic perspective as well as from a personal growth perspective. We hope that we grow them as musicians and we hope that we grow them as people."

Hill says former NCAS student singers will not be required to audition for Sing Omaha. Adult singers who are interested in joining one of Sing Omaha's two adult choirs may obtain audition requirements online at singomaha.com.
