Snow moves out, below zero wind chills move in to metro

Omaha, NE – A major winter storm that pounded Omaha with heavy snow and strong winds has moved out, but the National Weather Service says wind chill values as low as -25 are expected to move in.

The wind chill in Omaha was -15 at 6 AM. Wind chill values were as low as -25 in areas north and west of the city.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect today due to blowing snow and dangerously cold wind chills.
