Some nonprofits to get incubator space in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A Lincoln couple are donating business incubator space to help nonprofits grow and thrive.

The Lincoln Journal Star says Nonprofit Hub, an offshoot of the digital marketing company Firespring, said Wednesday that there would be 12,000 square feet of space in a downtown Lincoln building. The building is owned by Firespring founder and CEO Jay Wilkinson and his wife, Tawnya Starr-Wilkinson.

Nonprofit Hub has been operating only online since 2011. It will be based in the new space.

There will be 13 private offices available, 12 private collaborative cubicles and 44 desks that can be rented on a day-to-day basis. There also will be four meeting rooms and a conference center and classroom that will accommodate up to 50 people.
