Speed Dialoguing event at the Slowdown tomorrow night

By Cheril Lee

Omaha, NE – Project Interfaith is kicking off a new event called Face to Faith: A Speed Dialoguing Event for Young Professionals.

Executive Director Beth Katz says the event was modeled off the speed dating concept. She says Project Interfaith is using the speed dialogue event as a fun, quick way to get young professionals of diverse backgrounds and beliefs to meet each other. Katz says they hope it gives people the opportunity to quickly begin talking about issues of religion, culture and identity, "Young professionals and young adults can come together and they'll have the opportunity to be matched up very quickly with a number of different people and we give them different questions to talk about. Through that process we hope that they identify some people they'd like to continue talking with well beyond this program."

Project Interfaith's Speed Dialoguing event takes place tomorrow at 5:30 at The Slowdown. Registration is available online at projectinterfaith.org.
