Omaha, Nebraska – KIOS will present a special program Friday afternoon in honor of Jazz Appreciation Month.
"Jazz At Lincoln Center-Stand Up For Jazz" will start off the Friday afternoon jazz lineup.
Recorded last October by Jazz at Lincoln Center at its new home, Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York, the program is a delightful mix of jazz and comedy.
The program features the legendary comedic actor, comedian, composer, author and lover of jazz, Bill Cosby in concert.
Cosby shares the stage with trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and friends and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra.
Jazz At Lincoln Center-Stand Up For Jazz will be broadcast at 1pm on KIOS.
Chris Cooke is the host of Jazz in the Afternoon and Last Call on KIOS.
