Steve Shininger and the Bluffs Big Band to present tribute to Frank Sinatra

Jazz Arts Midwest series continues this weekendBy Chris Cooke

Omaha, Nebraska – Steve Shininger and the Bluffs Big Band present "Swingin' Sinatra", a tribute to the legendary Frank Sinatra, this weekend.

The performances are part of the ongoing Jazz Arts Midwest concert series.

Vocalist Shininger captivates audiences with a striking similiarity to the "Chairman of the Board"'s voice and delivery. Add to that the lush, brassy sound of the Bluffs Big Band, recognized nationally by the Duke Ellington Society-and the result is an unforgettable evening of music.

Shows are at 7pm Friday and Saturday night, February 9 and 10, at the Auditorium for the Enrichment of Life, located at Longfellow Elementary School, 2011 South 10th St, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
