Omaha, NE – TSA officials say nothing suspicious was found in a bag that prompted the evacuation of an Eppley Airfield concourse Wednesday afternoon.
A statement from the TSA says personnel at the Terminal B checkpoint discovered what they thought was a suspicious item in a carry-on bag. The item was found during an x-ray screening. The concourse was evacuated and the Omaha Police bomb squad called in to remove the device.
The bomb unit cleared the item after finding it wasn't suspicious. Screening operations in Terminal B, Eppley's north checkpoint, resumed at 2pm Wednesday.
