Two candidates vying for Omaha City Council District 5 seat

Two candidates are vying for the open District 5 seat on the Omaha City Council.

Rich Pahls and Jeff Moore are candidates for District 5. Pahls is a former two-term state senator. He also served as a Millard Public Schools principal for 30 years.

Pahls’ opponent is Jeff Moore. Moore is an insurance agent in Millard.

The District 5 seat is currently held by Jean Stothert, who’s running for Mayor. Omaha’s primary election is April 2. More information is available at www.votedouglascounty.com.
