Two tree debris drop-off sites in Omaha open the rest of the week
Two tree debris drop-off locations are open in Omaha through Friday.
A news release from the city says the north parking lot of Tranquility Park, at 120th and Maple, and 11th and Locust are open from 7am to 7pm today through Friday. Residents can drop off tree debris at those sites at no charge.
Debris can also be placed at the curb for weekly trash pick-up. Tree limbs must be cut to no more than four feet long and two inches in diameter. They should be bundled or in a yard waste container.
More than 6,000 OPPD customers remain without power following Monday’s storm.
