Omaha, NE – The UNO 2110 Time Capsule will be placed in the new College of Business Administration Building.
Suzanne Sollars, Associate Professor of Psychology at UNO, coordinated the project. She says the time capsule will be placed in an interior wall of Mammel Hall instead of buried. She says there were nine total capsules, representing various groups including students, faculty, community and alumni.
Sollars says items donated to the time capsules includes toys, a dog snuggly, sea monkeys, political bobbleheads, light bulbs, Twinkies and Maverick memorabilia. Mammel Hall is located on the Pacific Street campus and is slated to open later this summer.
